NPQ Senior Leadership
We provide a range of development programmes for school leaders - both for those already in leadership roles as well as for those taking their first steps into leadership.
We are currently running programmes leading to the National Qualification for Middle Leaders (NQML) and the National Qualification for Senior Leaders (NQSL). These programmes are provided in partnership with UCL Institute of Education.
We also provide short bespoke programmes in response to schools' particular requirements.

|NPQML - leading a team||NPQSL - Leading across a school|
Those who are, or are aspiring to become a middle leader with responsibility for leading a team e.g. a key stage leader, a curriculum area leader, a pastoral services leader, a subject leader, a special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO), or a head of department. This includes those who are, or are aspiring to be a middle leader with cross-school responsibilities e.g. a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE).
Those who are, or are aspiring to become a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities e.g. an experienced middle leader, a deputy head teacher, an assistant head teacher, or other senior staff e.g. a Director of a Teaching School Alliance (TSA).
The curriculum framework is built around six content areas and seven leadership behaviours, all of which are com-mon to each level of NPQ, enabling leaders to develop the depth and breadth of knowledge and experience progressively through the levels.
